Special Committee of the Whole: Budget Meeting
- Committee received the 2022 Budget Draft #1 Report and related budget documents for information and discussion.
- Committee approved the 2022 capital funding request of $10,000 from the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre to be funded through the 2022 Community Capital Grant Program budget.
- Committee tabled the 2022 Budget section that included an increased operating expense of $32,454 to replace the contract Junior Planner position to a Full-Time Planner position.
- Committee tabled the 2022 Budget section that included an increased operating expense of $62,912 to include the changes to the seasonal contract staffing as outlined within the staff report.

As part of our customer service strategy, our team works hard to provide opportunities for residents to provide their input on various Town topics. We hope that this survey enables you to share your thoughts with us on financial matters and budget priorities for the Town of Penetanguishene.
This Survey is anticipated to close on Monday, May 24, 2021, and a summary of the results will be presented to Council in June 2021 and at our 2022 Budget Public Consultation to be held in the Fall of 2021.
